Meet the Owners

Tom and Debbie have been working in the IT field within the Oil and Gas industry for the last 20 years. Debbie, as an Messaging Product Architect and Tom, as a Systems Infrastructure and Migration Architect. They were working literally side by side since 2001 always either a cubical or office away from each other. Tom was doing a bit of global travel until 2013 when they were sent to Baton Rouge to assist with the IT part of a merger. After a wonderful year in Louisiana, they were moved back to The Woodlands Texas, and placed on different floors. Separated! It was like peanut butter without jelly, like a dog without a bone! They knew this was a sign.  It was time to leave the corporate world.  They started following a dream, looking for B&B’s in the Central Texas Hill country to combine hospitality with the Texas Wine industry. After a few years with nothing but a few Wine club memberships (oh, and they got married at one of those wineries), they attended an inspiring seminar hosted by The B&B team. They then spread their wings and sojourned to Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and finally finding the perfect location in Eureka Springs. The Reay’s purchased The Woods from a great guy, Frankie Green, who runs the Grand Treehouse Resort. Come and say hi, and if you like, spend a few nights at The Woods.

FAQ and Policies for The Woods Eureka Springs Cabins for Rent

CHECK-IN: 3PM – 8PM. If arriving later than 8PM, please let us know when you are able to arrive.

CHECK-OUT:  by 11AM.  Feel free to drop the key in the drop box or leave the key in your cabin.  We’d love to see how your visit was, if you want to bring your key to us for a quick chat!

MINIMUM NIGHT STAY:  A two night stay is required on weekends.   If only one night is available, this rule will be waived.   There are no minimum stay requirements for weekdays, Monday thru Thursday.

DEPOSIT:  A deposit of one nights stay is required at the time of reservation, including applicable taxes of 14.375%.   The remaining balance is due upon check in.  We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Debit Cards but we are unable to accept checks or cash.

REFUNDS: Refund of the deposit less a $25 cancellation fee will be made if a cancellation notice is received 15 days before your arrival date.  In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than 15 days notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. If we can re-book your room, a full refund will be made less a $25 cancellation charge.  A charge of $25 will be accessed for ALL cancellations.

MAX ROOM OCCUPANCY:  Aspen, Maple, Magnolia & Willow Cabins accommodate 2 adults only. The Walnut Cabin accommodates up to 4 people only, children included.

CHILDREN:  Please note that The Woods Cabins is a quiet, serene getaway for couples and we do not have areas outside for children to play.  All of the cabins except for the Walnut Cabin are for 2 adults only.   We respectfully request that the Walnut Cabin only be used for reservations with children as it has 2 separate, queen bedrooms.   No one under 18 is allowed in the hot tub or hot tub area.

SMOKING: We allow smoking on the porches and outside on our property.   We just do not allow smoking inside the cabins or in the hot tub area.  A $300 fee will be charged to anyone who smokes in the cabins or the hot tub area.

PETS: Dogs are welcome at The Woods.  A $25 one-time, non-refundable fee is charged for each room.  The maximum pet weight allowed is 15 pounds.  Due to the size of our cabins, we limit the number of pets to 2 (two).    If your pet is left alone in your cabin, it must be crated at all times.  We do provide different sized crates that can be borrowed for your pet’s stay.  There is no additional charge to borrow the crates.  We just ask that you notify us prior to arriving if you will need to borrow any crates.  This is to protect your pet as well as our employees if we need to access your room while you are away.  Waste pick-up bags are on the pet station that has bags and a waste can for easy disposal.   Although we welcome your pet, please respect our hospitality.  Do not permit your pet to get on the bed coverings or the furniture.  If additional cleaning is needed for bedding, carpeting or furniture, or if any damages are incurred due to your pet, you will be charged the cost of the repairing the damage.

DAMAGE OR EXCESSIVE SOILING: You will be charged for any damage you have caused to your room during your stay or for excessive soiling of bed linens, towels or carpeting.  In the event that such stains cannot be removed, you will be charged for replacement of the soiled/stained item(s).
