Meet the Owners

Tom and Debbie had been working in the IT field within the Oil and Gas industry for the last 20 years. Debbie, as an Messaging Product Architect and Tom, as a Systems Infrastructure and Migration Architect. They were working literally side by side since 2001 always either a cubical or office away from each other. Tom was doing a bit of global travel until 2013 when they were sent to Baton Rouge to assist with the IT part of a merger. After a wonderful year in Louisiana, they were moved back to The Woodlands Texas, and placed on different floors. Separated! It was like peanut butter without jelly, like a dog without a bone! They knew this was a sign.  It was time to leave the corporate world.  They started following a dream, looking for B&B’s in the Central Texas Hill country to combine hospitality with the Texas Wine industry. After a few years with nothing but a few Wine club memberships (oh, and they got married at one of those wineries), they attended an inspiring seminar hosted by The B&B team. They then spread their wings and sojourned to Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and finally finding the perfect location in Eureka Springs. As of this writing, they have been playing Innkeepers for a little over seven years and are calling Eureka Springs their forever home!  Come and say hi, and if you like, spend a few nights at The Woods Cabins.

Clean Cabins / Safe Spaces

We take the necessary steps to continue to create a safe and healthy space for your visit.

– Contactless check-in available or we can do an outside meet and greet
– Enhanced cleaning includes sanitizing touch points and running an Ozone generator when needed
– Limit entering cabins during guests’ stay unless requested
– Outside Hot Tub area cleaned daily and follow Health Department guidelines
– Extra hand soap available in kitchens and bathrooms

   ALWAYS AT THE WOODS CABINS
– We wash all linens including comforters, shams and towels after every guest visit
– All cabins have their own exterior entrance as well as separate outdoor seating areas
– Every surface in your cabin is cleaned before you arrive

 

FAQ and Policies for The Woods Cabins in Eureka Springs

CHECK-IN: 3PM – 8PM. Please let us know when you plan to arrive so we can be on the property to greet you.

CHECK-OUT: by 11AM. Feel free to drop the key in the drop box or leave the key in your room. We’d love to hear how your visit was if you want to bring your key to us for a quick chat!

DEPOSIT: A deposit of one nights stay is required at the time of reservation, including applicable taxes. The remaining balance is due upon check in. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Debit Cards or cash but we are unable to accept checks.

REFUNDS: Refund of the deposit less a $25 cancellation fee will be made if a cancellation notice is received 15 days before your arrival date. In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than 15 days notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. If we can re-book your room, a full refund will be made less a $25 cancellation charge. A charge of $25 will be accessed for ALL cancellations.

ROOM OCCUPANCY: Aspen, Maple, Magnolia & Willow Cabins accommodate 2 people including children. The Walnut Cabin accommodates up to 4 people, children included. Each room has a King Bed.

CHILDREN: Please note that The Woods Cabins is a quiet, serene getaway for couples and we do not have areas outside for children to play.

SMOKING: We allow smoking and vaping on the porches and outside on our property. Please do not smoke or vape inside the cabins. It’s very difficult to get the smell removed before the next guest.

PETS: Dogs are welcome at The Woods. A $50 one-time, non-refundable fee is charged for each cabin. Our pet weight limit is 50 pounds. If your pet is left alone in your cabin, please use a crate to protect your pet as well as if we need to access your cabin while you are away. Please let us know if you want to borrow a crate as we have several sizes. Complimentary waste pick-up bags will be provided on the pet station that has bags and a waste can for easy disposal.

HOT TUB: The hot tub is available 24/7 and is shared on the property with all 5 cabins. Please be mindful of noise after 10pm so not to disturb other guests.
